THE BAD NEWS ABOUT CONTINUING RESOLUTIONS

There’s a lot to dislike about Continuing Resolutions (CR), aside from the fact that they’re better than a shutdown.  Let’s look at just some that are impacting federal business right now.

WEDNESDAY IS PEARL HARBOR DAY

The 21st century world moves more quickly than is healthy for any of us.  In our head-long race into tomorrow, or even the next 10 minutes, we often fail to take the time to note significant events or honor those deserving of our memories’ and appreciation.  Let’s not have that happen on Wednesday, December 7th.  This day marks the 75th anniversary of the “date that will live in infamy”.  Take a moment to remember the sacrifice and terror so many experienced on that day.  We wouldn’t have the opportunity to blow by them now on our way to the next “big thing” if they hadn’t done their duty then.
